48 Hours in NYC Featuring the Loews Regency Hotel

Loews Regency Hotel Despite the fact that Carla and I didn’t technically plan on coming up to New York for Fashion Week this season, we managed to escape for two days and it was the most fabulous 48 hours we’ve had in a while! Our good friends were in town from LA and invited us to come up to attend their first NY show so without hesitation we booked our train and were on our way to The Big Apple. We decided to make things easier on ourselves and stay at The Loews Regency Hotel because we love Loews properties (as you may already know from this post).Lobby Lounge Wide
The first thing I must mention is that the staff at the Regency was incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived until the minute we departed – no matter what the request, they go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met in a timely and courteous manner. We also really love the hotel’s inviting decor and comfortable rooms. We always look forward to their incredibly soft bed sheets and bathrobes that make #robelife a reality.Luxury Double bathroom
We must admit, at least 50% of our stay was spent in this luxury bathroom. For NY standards (or any city standard for that matter), this bathroom is enormous! Having the huge soaking tub (which we took full advantage of) and all the mirrors and counter space is an absolute luxury. Do you ever find yourself being annoyed with tiny bathroom sinks where there is only room for one toothbrush and maybe a bar of soap? Yea, that’s not fun, especially with two girls and especially during #NYFW. Thankfully, we had all the space to relax, get ready, and enjoy ourselves before the big night out.Loews Regency hotel Knowing we had a tight schedule ahead, we kicked things off with a much needed lunch at The Regency Bar & Grill located inside the hotel. Just by looking at the crowd in the restaurant and at the bar, it was obvious that a lot of other fashion industry insiders were also fans of the hotel and restaurant. The service here was also superb and the food was delicious. Our server was incredibly attentive the entire time and personally recommended the perfect white wine to pair with our fish selections. We spent a good two hours indulging in all the food and wine but the show had to go on and off we went to our next stop, the 10,000-square-foot celebrity Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa also located in the hotel.salmonThe big glass doors lead to a bright, beautiful space that immediately makes you feel glamorous just by being there.  After a quick tour of the space (including the super chic men’s grooming lounge on the downstairs floor), we headed to our express blow-dry appointments — express being the key word. We were in-and-out in a matter of thirty minutes with our hair looking better than ever. Aside from the fabulous hair styles, we also fell in love with the Julien Farel’s own line of anti-aging hair care products. The vitamin restore shampoo & conditioner replacement treatment is seriously a miracle product. I am already planning a trip back to the salon to stock up on this product. I may even have to write a separate post about its benefits and what my hair looks like after only a week of use. It’s pretty incredible!Salon EntryJulien Farel Restore Salon & SpaNeedless to say, we had an incredible experience at the Loews Regency Hotel and can’t wait to be back again soon! If you’re planning a trip to NY, this is a must visit.
